Human Resources Asst. II

Your Responsibilities

The HR Assistant II will provide administrative support to one or more human resources functions within the department.

Your Tasks

  • Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and personnel actions
  • Administer pre-employment process to selected candidate, including pre-employment physicals and background checks
  • Prepares new employee files and hire packets
  • Maintain and update job postings as needed by Recruiter
  • Work with Recruiter and internal customers for the coordination of interviews 
  • Assist with benefit enrollment annually and monthly
  • Process compiling of all onboarding and exit paperwork
  • Educate employees on Self-Service Portal and processes
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality on employee issues


Your Profile


  • AA degree
  • 2 years of human resource experience
  • Working knowledge of labor laws and related regulations
  • Ability to utilize an HRIS system
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Communicate effectively and ability to function well in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively organize, multitask, and work in a fast-paced, deadline driven work environment
  • Detail oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems
  • Strong problem solving skills



  • Experience in the manufacturing environment
  • Experience with ADP/Success factor
