We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Development Manager, Oligonucleotides

f/m 100% - A team player who supports Bachem in uncovering new manufacturing opportunities for oligonucleotide-based APIs while building lasting relationships within Biotech and Pharma community.

 

Your Tasks

  •  Growing Bachem’s pipline of oligo-based NCE prospects and projects
  • Building long-term business relationship with existing and new customers
  • Proactively seeking business meetings with prospective clients
  • Driving engagement and promoting Bachem’s Oligonucleotide offerings by participating in conferences, exhibitions, and symposia
  • Working with technical teams to evaluate and assess new projects
  • Developing and writing proposals for Oligonucleotide NCE projects
  • Ensuring appropriate customer interaction
  • Working with internal departments to optimize customer experience and quality of service
  • Initiating, evaluating, participating, and concluding the negotiation of contracts
  • Documenting all aspects of the customer relationship using established platforms and processes

 

 

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Life Science
  • Multi-year experience in the field of Oligonucleotide CMC/API
  • Enthusiastic individual with excellent negotiating skills, combined with a pragmatic and solution-oriented approach
  • Strong communications and listening skills: ability to handle objections as well as to take feedback and coaching
  • Willing to travel up to 30%
  • Fluent in English and German, other languages a plus
  • Proficient with standard IT tools (Microsoft Office, etc.), ERP and CRM experience a plus
