Sales Manager Custom Synthesis (f/m/d)

To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strenghten our Custom Synthesis Sales Team we are looking for a Sales Manager 100% (f/m/d) which is responsible for Bachems high quality custom peptides.

 

Are you keen to support our customers using your scientific background in biology and chemistry? You want to be the interface between our customers, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, project management, and marketing?

 

 

Your Tasks:

 

  • Effectively translate the needs of our customers into defined deliverables
  • Actively grow, manage, and document your Sales Pipeline
  • Build strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Manage key accounts in the area of in-vitro diagnostic peptides
  • Identify market trends, gather and share relevant information
  • Organize visits to or from customers
  • Attend/support customer audits
  • Address technical inquiries in collaboration with our experts in St.Helens, UK
  • Act as an expert within Bachem for the commercial aspects of our custom synthesis production
  • Day to day interaction with customers around the world

 

 

Your Profile:

 

  • Master or PhD in Chemistry, Biology, Pharma or Life Sciences
  • Sales experience in Chemistry / Life Sciences is an advantage.
  • Experience with the manufacturing of peptides is an advantage.
  • Positive and proactive attitude towards internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively organize, multitask, and prioritize according to Bachem’s commercial strategy
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • German and other languages a plus
  • Good knowledge of MS Office, familiarity with Salesforce and SAP is an advantage
  • Ability to travel up to 10% and flexibility to work with US time zone as required
