SAP Project Manager

To strengthen our IT PMO Organisation and ensure the delivery of our IT Project Portfolio we are looking for an experienced SAP Project Manager

Tasks:

The SAP Project Manager is responsible to successfully execute projects in close collaboration with respective IT (SAP CC) and business units, considering quality, time and cost.

This responsibility includes but is not limited to:

Deliver SAP projects on time, within budget and with high quality
Set up a robust project governance structure, define project scope and key objectives in collaboration with project sponsor, steering committee and/or Business Owner
Identify all relevant project stakeholders, proactively manage relationships and ensure customer view is reflected in the execution of the project
Establish and update project plan, documentation as well as work packages and track the completion of project deliverables, tasks, activities and milestones
Manage project team, consisting of Bachem employees and external partners
Actively and effectively manage project spending, resources, risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies as well as propose appropriate mitigation actions
Ensure transparent and traceable project change management process
Ensure timely and accurate reporting on project scope, schedule, cost and resources, as well as project risks, issues, action items, and dependencies and develop corrective actions
Track monthly status to ensure progress is being made to achieve agreed targets
Project communication within project team and to stakeholders as well as provision of a decision base and reports for the various stakeholders
Conduct relevant RFPs and participate to vendor selection as needed
Responsible for projects up to completion of transition phase, including handover and hypercare
Support evaluations of new SAP solutions and/or vendors/partners with adequate project management tools
Support other IT project managers within the team or in other departments with methodology and best practice to successfully plan, budget and execute IT projects

Education:

Bachelor degree in (Business) Information Technology or similar

Training and Certification in PMI or any other equivalent Project Management methodology.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of SAP project management experience in an international company
Proven track record of successfully delivered SAP Projects
Drive and high energy to solve complex issues at a fast pace
Ability to work independently
Leadership skills to push projects to completion, using conflict resolution, facilitation, scenario-based analysis, risk management, exceptional communication and project methodology
Detail planning capabilities, analytical thinking and strong ability to break large problems in small elements
Experience in managing competing priorities
English / German language skills: C1 (Advanced / Higher Business) or higher
