OT Data Infrastructure Engineer

To strengthen and expand our operational technology department, we are looking for a motivated person as “OT Data Infrastructure Engineer”.

 

Your tasks

 

  • Designing, building and deploying data infrastructure solutions together with IT
  • Manage data ingestion and processing infrastructure stack with monitoring and alerting
  • Support building a global data model, data catalogue and search capabilities
  • Harmonize visualisations and data analytics tools across the operations network
  • Building data pipelines for the use cases in production, MSAT, QC and R&D
  • Support data profiling, data cleansing and data aggregation
  • Ensure data integrity across OT data sources
  • Enable digital projects by collaborate close with data analytics engineers and other SMEs in the business
  • Coordination of customer requests and development of MVPs
  • Supporting production / technology / troubleshooting, problem solving and change management

 

 

Your profile

  • Strong background in computer science, automation or other technical fields
  • Several years of professional experience in data management and architecture
  • Experience with OT data infrastructure tools like Aveva PI and reporting capabilties like Seeq and PowerBI
  • Good understanding of relational and non-relational DB technologies
  • Hands-on experience with data curation, -transformation and – analytics
  • Programming skills in Python, R and Java
  • Familiarity with FAIR data concepts and data ontologies
  • Passion for deriving insights from data and transforming it into actions
  • Fun at work and innovative thinking
  • Very good communication skills and outstanding organizational skills.
  • very good knowledge of German and English.
