To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our Event Marketing Team, we are looking for a dedicated (Senior) Event Marketing Specialist (f/m/d), 70-100%.


Your tasks:

  • Lead Bachem’s key events and implement unique and creative ideas to enhance the company’s presentation, therefore improve and update the Bachem tradeshow booth, coordinating internal and external stakeholders for alignment and support.
  • Plan, organize and improve webinars taking place both at exhibitions, conferences and other events, as well as standalone webinars hosted by Bachem. This includes leading and enhancing live event recordings, speaker preparations and session recording.
  • Drive all event testing and quality control procedures before and during the events as well as take responsibility for the success and outcomes of the events and webinars, stay at the top of the technologies and the competitor activities.
  • Own the event budget as project lead for the responsible events and give recommendations within the given budget and capacity.
  • Alignment and consult with stakeholders for topics and speakers, setup and improve promotion plans, execute promotion for all key activities according to the promotional plan using channels such as social media, the website, email marketing, etc.
  • Inform the wider Bachem team of upcoming activities, deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the customer experience with top of the art technologies and strategies.


Your profile:

  • Education: BS in Marketing, Event Management or similar
  • Professional, management or project experience with extensive experience in marketing or event management
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills with fluency in English and German; French is a plus.
  • Ability to travel: This role requires the ability to travel worldwide – approx. 10%
  • Excellence within MS Office applications and streaming tools, knowledgeable with SAP, Salesforce and possibly Adobe CC
  • Personal competencies: Takes initiative and shows willingness to change, shows customer and service orientation, demonstrates structuring and implementation capabilities as well as thinks and acts in an entrepreneurial way.
