A brief overview

 

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating all quality control project activities, serving as the primary liaison between QC teams, cross-functional departments, and external clients. Ensures timely testing, compliance with regulatory standards, efficient resource allocation, and effective communication to support successful project execution and delivery.

 

What you will do

 

  • Manage customer projects and act as the primary QC point of contact for all project-related activities.
  • Oversee critical testing activities for facility, including stability studies and other regulatory-driven testing requirements.
  • Support departmental leadership in project prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate testing efforts between Bachem sites to support timely product and service delivery, contributing to weekly financial targets.
  • Manage testing issues—such as deviations and laboratory investigations—at contract sites, ensuring timely and effective communication and resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers (RA, QA, Project Management, etc.) regarding stability issues, data trends, specification settings and regulatory queries.
  • Write, review, and approve Project Related Protocols, Reports and related Documents.
  • Participate and lead continuous improvement projects in the QC laboratory and establish KPI’s
  • Coordinate and maintain contracted vendor services and work assignments.

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in related science field
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in biotech/pharma industry
  • 1-3 years project management experience in GMP environment (preferred)
  • Excellent project management skills

 

 

Base salary range: $98,560 - $135,520

Placement of new hires in these wage ranges is based on several factors including education, skill sets, experience, and training.
