Sales Service Representative

Your Responsibilities

 

The Sales Service Representative will be responsible for selling the company’s products and services by contacting prospective and established customers. The Research Sales Representative will follow up on leads and establish close customer contacts to promote the company’s products to select accounts as designated by Sales Management.

 

Your Tasks

 

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and emails
  • Contact prospective customers to uncover sales leads and pursue to completion
  • Present applicable company capabilities as benefits to prospective customers
  • Provide information to customers as it pertains to available services, prices and new products
  • Distill customer requirements and qualify project leads before presenting to operational functions
  • Prepare sales proposals, calculates prices within the framework, present offers to customers and ensure follow-ups
  • Meet established company sales quota by obtaining and renewing orders
  • Monitor competitive activity and trends within the established territory
  • Manage assigned key accounts
  • Process customer orders and complaints as required
  • Manage relevant customer data and communications
  • Act as liaison between customer contacts and specialists from Marketing, Sales, R&D, Production, QC for all types inquiries.
  • Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills; work independently
  • Detail oriented with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and analytical problems.
  • Strong understanding of interdependencies with cross-functional stakeholders and business implications of decisions.
  • Positive and determined attitude with the ability to communicate in a proactive and solution-focused manner; keep management informed of potential issues

 

Your Profile

 

  • Bachelor of Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, or similar field)
  • 1-3 years’ work experience in Sales or Customer Service
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems

 

Preferred

 

  • Advanced Degree in Science or MBA
  • 3-5 Years Sales experience
  • Pharmaceutical Industry experience
