This is your chance to be part of the Bachem success story: we are looking for a Transformation Manager to join our Business Process Engineering team.

The Transformation Manager is responsible for the design, development, and implementation of the Organizational Change Management (OCM) strategies for change & engagement, including stakeholder assessment communications, leadership alignment, organizational transition, change readiness, capability transfer and end-user training. In this role, you will support project managers in developing and implementing plans and ways of working that cover all aspects of change related to organizational transformation. Together with you colleagues, you will build and lead engaged project teams and drive the project outcome to secure optimal and efficient business processes aligned with the business strategy.


Your Tasks


  • Develop change management strategies for projects and translate those strategies into actionable deliverables for the various change management levers.
  • Apply a structured methodology and drive change management activities related to projects and initiatives
  • Support and lead the implementation of transformation projects
  • Collaborate with leaders across departments and geographies to ensure successful implementation of E2E business processes
  • Ensure the project team and organization understand the impact and implications to develop a necessary approach that integrates learning and capability building
  • Assist in the design, development, delivery and management of communications
  • Lead in the development of content and materials for training programs
  • Consult & coach employees at all levels

Your Profile


  • University degree, preferably in Organizational Development, Life Sciences, Business or Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of professional experience and minimum 5 years of experience with transformation projects and organizational development
  • Demonstrated experience in leading full-lifecycle change management activities
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of project management fundamentals and experience with global and complex projects
  • Challenges the organization to be curious, to challenge the status quo and to embrace new ways of working
  • Leads change by example, is optimistic in the face of challenges and remains resilient. Has a “can-do” attitude and engages in networks to get things done
  • Fluent in German & English, French is a plus
  • Solid knowledge of key business processes and corresponding ERP systems (ideally SAP) is an advantage
