The Bachem Group is investing in a new site in Sisslerfeld in Northwestern Switzerland. This step is part of the long-term strategy to expand production capacity by the end of the decade. The new production site will play a central role in achieving these goals.
The initiation phase of the project offers you unique opportunities to shape the future organization. To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager Building (f/m/d), 100%.
Your tasks:
- Management of the building design & construction part of the project, project support and consulting
- Technical coordination of the construction and Building services (HVAC, EIC & BMS) trades and their technical experts
- Coordination with the safety officer (Safety Officer) and fire protection quality management (QS fire protection)
- Coordination of Bachem and external project staff as well as required experts in the relevant trades
- Cost and schedule responsibility for the building part of the project
- Interface for activities and information between the project participants
- Technical expert on specialist issues and advisor to the project team
- Regular progress monitoring, performance analysis, forecasting and reporting for the sub-project (as an integral part of overall project controlling)
- Support in general project management tasks (scheduling & tracking, cost estimation and control, progress control, reporting, manual updating, definition of workflows, etc.)
- Support of procurement activities
- Checking documents, invoices and time recording of the relevant planners
- Interface to the Construction Management (CM)
Your profile:
- Bachelor or Master/University degree in engineering (architecture, civil, construction etc.)
- Project Management: PMI, LCI certificate or eqivalent is an advantage
- Extensive work experience in international management of multi-hundred million capital projects ideally in the pharmaceutical sector
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of project management and cost controlling
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing and presentation skills
- Very good understanding of customer needs
- Technology expertise and business acumen in GMP projects
- Very good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Works self-directed with a strong ownership of tasks
- Fluency in German and English
