We are looking for a Sales Manager (w/m 100%) for our Generics API portfolio who will be responsible for the ongoing support of existing and new international customers in their endeavor to develop accessible medicine.


Your responsibilities

  • Grow Bachem’s generics business by managing assigned existing and new customer projects
  • Develop in-depth product and industry knowledge
  • Be major point of contact for assigned customers in relation to product quality, regulatory filing, and GMP production and analysis questions
  • You will be coordinating internal activities related to customer projects and be the major communication channel
  • Conduct price and contract negotiations
  • Enter and update CRM system records
  • Organize and conduct visits to existing and prospect customers
  • Accompany entire the sales cycle from quotation to delivery
  • Active participation in internal budget, product design and market strategy discussions
  • Represent the Generics Team as active member of product development/life cycle project teams
  • Represent Bachem at international exhibitions and conferences


Your qualifications

  • University degree in chemistry, life science or business
  • 2-3 years technical sales or project management experience in Life Science or pharmaceutical service industry is very desirable
  • Pronounced communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Goal oriented and valuing partnership
  • Positive and proactive attitude
  • Excellent command of English (German advantageous but not required)
  • Good knowledge of MS Office
  • Ability to travel 20%
