IT System Engineer (f/m/d), 100%

In order to drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified specialists. To strengthen our team in the Global IT Operations department, we are looking for a dedicated IT System Engineer (f/m/d), 100%. In this role, you and your colleagues will be responsible for the smooth operation and maintenance of Bachem's international IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for various pharma-specific systems.

 

Your tasks:

  • Architect and administer our Windows driven Pharma production environment in accordance with best practice
  • Work in a hybrid multi domain environment including o365, Entra, Azure and on premise
  • Maintaining Local Active Directory and Cloud Entra Directory
  • Consolidate, implement, update and maintain AD Groups, Group Policies and Entra Directory Objects
  • Script and automate tasks via Powershell or automation tools
  • Manage o365 Exchange Online
  • Architect and support our migration to Azure Cloud Services
  • Implement security definitions and tools according to IT security guidelines and best practices
  • Writing system documentation according to pharmaceutical standards
  • Provide Level 2/3 support including different teams and third-party vendors

 

Your profile:

  • Bachelor's degree and or vendor certifications and four or more years of experience, or experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience in Microsoft Active Directory and Azure/Entra
  • Very good knowledge in Microsoft Windows Server
  • Excellent understanding in Microsoft Azure Cloud Services and migration
  • Scripting and automation experience (Ansible, AutoIT, PowerShell, VB, Bash)
  • Experience in different on premise environments like IT and OT systems and domains.
  • Knowledge of Service Management via Service Now (CMDB, Change Management)
  • Ability to adjust and learn new technologies and adjust for the customer needs for a new requirement
  • Fluent in English and German
