We are looking for an experienced Event Marketing Associate (w/m/d) for our Global Marketing Team.

 

Your Tasks

  • Plan, manage and execute recruitment events
    • Prepare the event logistics
      • Plan, manage and execute the recruitment events where Bachem attends
      • Ensure alignment between the HR and marketing department
      • Train the HR team on booth set-up
    • Plan and execute event promotion activities
      • Plan and execute promotion for all event activities according to the promotional planning using channels such as social media, the website, email marketing, etc.
      • Inform the wider Bachem team about upcoming recruitment events
    • Event reporting
      • Deliver post-event reports with data-driven analysis including attendee feedback, goal attainment, and recommendations for future event improvements
      • Drive and deliver best practice documents and process improvement documents
      • Deliver new ideas and creative approaches to constantly improve the event experience
  • Design, order and distribute promotional gifts
    • Maintain existing and evaluate or acquire new promotional gifts
    • Monitoring of stock level, initiate reorder process
    • Monitor giveaway budget
  • Provide event management support to internal events
    • Seasonal site events (ex. Christmas party)
      • Event planning support
      • Ensure alignment between site management and marketing
      • Event logistics on the day of the event
    • Marketing department activities
      • Plan, manage and execute any activities in the department (ex. assist with workshops, team building activities)
  • Organizational and administrative work
    • Manage department SAP requisitions
    • Additional administrative tasks as required by the Group Leader

 

Your Profile

  • BS in event management is valued
  • Experience in project management
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Very good presentation and communication skills
  • Fluent in English, knowledge of German is valued

 

Desirable

  • Prior experience working in the industry of life sciences, chemistry, bio sciences or pharmaceutical is valued
  • Experience in working within a matrix organization is a plus
  • Knowledge of SAP is valued
  • Knowledgeable with MS Office applications
