To support our continued organic growth, we are constantly seeking highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our Global IT Department, we are looking for a committed and experienced Digital Workplace Manager (f/m/d), 100%.

 

As a Digital Workplace Manager, you will ensure that Bachem employees enjoy a seamless, productive, and positive experience when interacting with digital workplace services and tools.

 

Your tasks:

  • Enhance the end-user experience by prioritizing user-friendly interfaces, intuitive workflows, and efficient automation.
  • Support the implementation, monitoring, and operation of Bachem’s digital workplace technologies, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a technical expert for workplace technologies including laptops, desktops, mobile devices, client security, Windows configurations, and Office 365 integration.
  • Ensure operational stability through effective endpoint management.
  • Lead and support digital workplace technology projects.
  • Manage vendors and ensure service delivery aligns with contractual SLAs and KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain a roadmap for digital workplace strategy, modernization, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with GxP best practices, IT security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in resolving high-priority incidents and troubleshooting through structured problem management.

 

Your profile:

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience in IT, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong customer focus and a passion for delivering excellent user experiences.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience in technical and service management roles.
  • Proficiency in digital workplace technologies (hardware, software, Windows OS, Office 365).
  • Hands-on experience with SCCM, Intune, Active Directory, Group Policies, and virtualization.
  • Comfortable working in a multinational, multicultural environment.
  • Experience in process design and ITIL certification are advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a mid-sized consulting firm is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German.
